As seen in Wreck-it Ralph. The movie had a lot of awesome characters, but this was probably the only licensed character with some good character development. Q Bert is followed by his (now) friends Coily the Snake, Slick and Sam and Ugg the... devil pig?

What a great style for the Q*Bert gang. Almost looks like one of those "arty-toons" that they show as filler between cable films that don't quite fit a standard hour runtime block.

I'm glad that they finally have a home now. :)

What happened with Wrong-Way? Did he die or something?

I know who's Wrong-Way, but somehow... he doesn't appear in the movie. Maybe he went turbo or just didn't escape with the gang. Who knows. I wanted him in this drawing but I simply didn't know how to depict him.

i think as the claim on q*berrt is very low (only 1 game i think, and old) the rights were more free, so they could use him most.

Actually, 2 (Q*bert's Qubes is the other one). Technically Columbia Pictures owns the rights to him (they bought the company that originally created him), but presumably Disney didn't have to pay a competitor through the nose to use him because of his current obscurity.
